Final Flood Warning For The Gwydir River

FLOODING HAS EASED BELOW THE MINOR FLOOD LEVEL AT YARRAMAN
A minor flood peak occurred at Yarraman on Sunday afternoon before falling below the minor flood level on Monday morning. No further flooding is expected along the Gwydir River.
Gwydir River downstream of Copeton Dam:
No further flooding is expected in the Gwydir River downstream of Copeton Dam.
The Gwydir River at Yarraman Bridge peaked at 4.47 metres with minor flooding around 05:00 pm Sunday 14 August, and fell below the minor flood level (4.00 metres) around 9:00 am Monday. No further flooding is expected at Yarraman.
