for Northern Tablelands, Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands, Snowy Mountains and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts

Warning to Sheep Graziers for the following areas:
Northern Tablelands, Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands, Snowy Mountains and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts
Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and westerly winds are expected during Sunday and Monday. Areas likely to be affected include parts of the Northern Tablelands, Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands, Snowy Mountains and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.

The next warning will be issued by 11:00 pm EST Sunday.

Minor Flood Warning For The Gwydir River

MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT YARRAMAN
Moderate rainfall from Friday into Saturday has caused minor flooding along the Gwydir River. The main peak along the Gwydir River is at Yarraman, where minor flooding is occurring.

Gwydir River downstream of Copeton Dam:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Gwydir River at Yarraman.
The Gwydir River at Yarraman Bridge is steady near a peak of 4.50 metres, with minor flooding.

Flood Safety Advice:
In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500.
* Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place.
* Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood.
* Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
* Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.}

RAINFALL HAS EASED, WARNINGS CURRENT FOR SEVERAL INLAND NSW CATCHMENTS

The cold front has cleared out of New South Wales, and renewed flooding is no longer expected along the Upper Macintyre River, the Macquarie River to Bathurst, Molong Creek, or at Orange. Flood Warnings are current for New South Wales inland catchments from the Gwydir River to the Murray River.
The Bureau of Meteorology is continuing to monitor the situation and will issue further catchment-specific warnings if and when required.

Flooding is no longer expected for the following catchments:
Upper Macintyre River
Peel River
Macquarie River to Bathurst
Gwydir River
Orange, Molong and Bell River

Flood Warnings are current for the following catchments: Namoi, Gwydir, Castlereagh, Macquarie, Bell, Bogan, Lachlan, Murrumbidgee, Murray, Culgoa, Narran, Paroo, and Darling Rivers.

Minor Flood Warning For The Namoi River

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT WEE WAA (GLENCOE), BUGILBONE AND GOANGRA
Moderate rainfall from Friday has caused renewed river level rises along the Namoi River and its tributaries, which has the potential to cause renewed minor flooding along the Namoi River at Wee Waa (Glencoe).
The main flood peak along the Namoi River from the previous rainfall event is currently approaching Bugilbone where minor flooding is possible from Sunday afternoon.
Minor flooding may also develop at Goangra from Wednesday 17 August.

Namoi River:
Renewed minor flooding may develop at Wee Waa (Glencoe). Minor flooding is possible at Bugilbone and Goangra.
The Namoi River at Wee Waa (Glencoe) may reach the minor flood level (5.30 m) Monday afternoon.

The Namoi River at Bugilbone may reach the minor flood level (4.90 m) Sunday afternoon.

The Namoi River at Goangra may reach near the minor flood level (5.50 metres) during Wednesday 17 August.
