MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT FORBES, HILLSTON AND CONDOBOLIN
The main flood peak is approaching Forbes, where minor flooding is possible during Saturday evening.
Minor flooding is occurring along the Lachlan River at Cottons Weir, where a minor flood peak is likely during Saturday.
Minor flooding is occurring along the Lachlan River at Jemalong Weir, where minor flood peak is likely during Friday into Saturday morning.
Minor flooding is possible along the Lower Lachlan River at Condobolin during Thursday.
Minor flooding is occurring at Booligal where the river level is expected to remain steady over the weekend.
Minor flooding is possible along the The Lachlan River at Hillston over this weekend and expected to remain around the minor flood level (2.40 m) for next few days.
A flood watch is current for Lachlan River.
Lachlan River downstream of Wyangala Dam to Jemalong Weir:
Minor flooding is occurring at Cottons Weir and Jemalong, and is possible at Forbes.
The Lachlan River at Forbes Iron Bridge may reach the minor flood level (8.80 m) during Saturday evening.
The Lachlan River at Cottons Weir is likely to peak near 4.80 metres, with minor flooding during Saturday evening.
The Lachlan River at Jemalong Weir Downstream is likely to peak around the minor flood level (7.30 m) during Friday into Saturday morning.
Lower Lachlan River downstream of Jemalong Weir to Euabalong:
Minor flooding is possible along the Lower Lachlan River at Condobolin
The Lachlan River at Condobolin Bridge may reach the minor flood level (5.20 m) during Thursday.
Lower Lachlan River downstream of Euabalong to Booligal Weir:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Lower Lachlan River at Booligal Weir and possible at Hillston.
The Lachlan River at Hillston Weir is expected to remain around the minor flood level (2.40 m) over the weekend.
The Lachlan River at Booligal Weir may reach around 2.90 metres over the weekend with minor flooding.

MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT WARREN
MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT WELLINGTON
Moderate flooding is continuing along the Macquarie River at Warren, where river levels peaked Monday morning.
At Wellington Bridge, a minor flood peak was observed on Wednesday morning. In response to upstream dam releases, river levels are expected to remain above the minor flood level (4.0 metres) into the weekend.
Further rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Friday into the weekend which may cause renewed river rises and prolonged flooding. A flood watch is current for the Bell and Macquarie Rivers.
Macquarie River downstream of Burrendong Dam:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Macquarie River at Wellington. Moderate flooding is occurring at Warren.
The Macquarie River at Wellington Bridge peaked at 5.70 metres early Wednesday morning and is currently at 4.63 metres and steady, with minor flooding.
The Macquarie River at Warren town peaked near 9.20 metres around 11:30 am Monday morning, with major flooding. The river level is currently 8.94 metres and steady, with moderate flooding.

MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT DANDALOO AND GONGOLGON
MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT MUDALL OVER THE WEEKEND
Rainfall observed across the Bogan catchment this week is causing renewed river rises.
Minor flooding is occurring along the Bogan River at Dandaloo, where river levels peaked Wednesday evening.
At Mudall minor flooding is estimated to be occurring. As floodwaters arrive from upstream, moderate flooding is possible over the weekend.
The first flood peak along the Bogan River has passed Gongolgon, where minor flooding is occurring. Renewed rises are possible from late August, from the upstream floodwaters at Dandaloo.
A flood watch is current for the Bogan River.
Bogan River to Nyngan:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Bogan River at Dandaloo and moderate flooding is possible at Mudall.
The Bogan River at Dandaloo peaked at 4.97 metres around 11:45 pm Wednesday 10 August and is currently at 4.73 metres and falling, with minor flooding.
Minor flooding is estimated to be occurring along the Bogan River at Mudall.
The river level may reach the moderate flood level (3.00 m) over the weekend.
Lower Bogan River:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Lower Bogan River at Gongolgon.
The Bogan River at Gongolgon peaked at 0.96 metres around 12:30 pm Tuesday 09 August and is currently at 0.91 metres and falling, with minor flooding.
Renewed rises or prolonged minor flooding are possible from late August.

FLOODING POSSIBLE IN THE NEW SOUTH WALES INLAND RIVERS FROM FRIDAY MORNING
A cold front associated with a low pressure system is expected to bring showers and rain to western New South Wales from late Thursday, extending to eastern parts of the state during Friday. This rainfall may cause widespread minor to moderate and possibly major flooding along inland NSW rivers, many of which experienced flooding due the rainfall last week.
Catchments are wet following recent rainfall
The weather system is expected to cause renewed flooding for the following catchments listed from Friday. Flood Classes (minor, moderate, major) are only defined for catchments where the Bureau provides a flood warning service.

The Mirrool Creek at East Mirrool Regulator peaked at 1.49 metres around 10:00 pm Monday night and is currently at 0.79 metres and falling, below the minor flood level.
