Minor Flood Warning For The Namoi River

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT WEE WAA OVERNIGHT MONDAY INTO TUESDAY
The Namoi River at Boggabri is now at a peak, where river levels are steady below the minor flood level. As floodwaters extend further downstream, minor flooding is possible at Wee Waa overnight Monday into Tuesday.
River levels are expected to remain below the minor flood level at Narrabri.
Peak predictions at Wee Waa and downstream will be provided once upstream peaks are observed.

Namoi River:
Minor flooding is possible along the Namoi River at Wee Waa.
The Namoi River at Wee Waa (Glencoe) is likely to exceed the minor flood level (5.30 metres) overnight Monday into Tuesday. The river level may reach around 5.50 metres Tuesday morning, with minor flooding. Further rises are possible.

Minor Flood Warning For The Darling River

MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT MENINDEE, POONCARIE AND BURTUNDY
Flooding has eased along the Darling River at Wilcannia, where the river fell below the minor flood level on Friday.
The main flood peak along the Darling River is now approaching Menindee.
At Menindee, the river level is likely to remain steady above the minor flood level through to the end of the week as WaterNSW plans to maintain current release levels. Subject to inflow conditions, the current release level may be extended further. The release plan follows consultation with the SES and local communities.
Downstream of Menindee, minor flooding is occurring at Pooncarie and Burtundy, where river levels are steady.

Darling River downstream of Tilpa to Wilcannia:
Flooding is no longer occurring along the Darling River at Wilcannia.
The Darling River at Wilcannia fell below the minor flood level (9.00 metres) on Friday. The river is currently at 8.52 metres and falling slowly.

Darling River downstream of Wilcannia to Burtundy:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Darling River at Menindee, Pooncarie, and Burtundy.
The Darling River at Menindee town gauge is likely to remain near 9.00 metres through to the end of the week, with minor flooding.

The Darling River at Pooncarie is likely to remain near 6.90 metres through to late August, with minor flooding.

The Darling River at Burtundy is likely to remain near 6.70 metres through to early September, with minor flooding.

Minor Flood Warning For The Gwydir River

MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT GRAVESEND, PALLAMALLAWA, AND YARRAMAN
The main flood peak along the Gwydir River has now arrived at Pallamallawa, where minor flooding is occurring and river levels are steady. Downstream at Yarraman, minor flooding is occurring. The main flood peak is likely to arrive at Yarraman around Monday evening, just below the moderate flood level (6.50 metres).
Upstream at Gravesend, minor flooding is easing.

Gwydir River downstream of Copeton Dam:
Minor flooding is occurring at Gravesend, Pallamallawa, and Yarraman Bridge.
The Gwydir River at Gravesend Road Bridge peaked at 7.58 metres around 10:00 pm Sunday night and is currently at 6.61 metres and falling, with minor flooding.

The Gwydir River at Pallamallawa is steady near a peak of 6.70 metres, with minor flooding.

The Gwydir River at Yarraman Bridge is likely to peak near 6.20 metres Monday evening, with minor flooding.
