Minor Flood Warning For The Paroo River (Qld)

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT HUNGERFORD DURING SUNDAY.
Rainfall over the Paroo River catchment late last week has caused river rises.
Further rainfall is forecast for Friday and Saturday which may cause renewed river rises.

Paroo River to Eulo:
River levels are expected to be easing along the Paroo River around Eulo.
No observations are available for the Paroo River at Eulo.

Paroo River downstream of Eulo:
River levels have peaked just below the minor flood level at Caiwarro during Friday.
No observations are available for the Paroo River at Hungerford. River levels are expected to be steady.
The Paroo River at Hungerford may see river level rises later this week and may reach the minor flood level (1.00 m) during Sunday, as upstream floodwater arrives.

RIVER LEVELS EASING AT HEBEL
No significant rainfall has been observed across the catchment over the last four days. Rainfall is forecast across the catchment during Friday and Saturday, but no significant renewed river level rises are expected. The situation is being monitored closely and flood warnings will recommence if required.

Balonne River downstream of Beardmore Dam:
No further flooding is expected in the Balonne River downstream of Beardmore Dam and the Bokhara River.
The Bokhara River at Hebel is currently at 1.00 metres and falling slowly.
The Bokhara River at Hebel is likely to fall below the minor flood level (1.00 m) Thursday afternoon.
