MODERATE FLOODING LIKELY AT GIRU MONDAY EVENING
Moderate to heavy rainfall since Sunday afternoon has caused river and creek level rises across the Haughton River catchment. Moderate flooding is likely at Giru from Monday evening.
Further showers and storms are forecast across the catchment for the next several days, which may cause renewed or further river level rises. This situation is being closely monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.

Haughton River:
Moderate flooding is possible along the Haughton River.
The Haughton River at Giru is currently at 0.93 metres and steady, below the minor flood level (1.80 m).
The Haughton River at Giru is expected to exceed the minor flood level (1.80 m) around late Monday afternoon. The river level is likely to exceed the moderate flood level (2.10 m) Monday evening and may reach around 2.30 metres overnight Monday into Tuesday, with moderate flooding.

Minor Flood Warning For The Herbert River

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT ABERGOWRIE BRIDGE AND HALIFAX FROM MONDAY EVENING
Moderate to heavy rainfall has been observed across the Herbert River catchment since Saturday evening, particularly in the lower reaches of the catchment. This rainfall has resulted in river and creek level rises in lower parts the catchment.
Further showers and storms are forecast for the remainder of Monday and into Tuesday, which may cause further river level rises along the Herbert River downstream of Nash's Crossing. River levels at Abergowrie Bridge and Halifax may reach the minor flood level from Monday evening.
The situation is being closely monitored and this warning will be updated as required.

Herbert River downstream of Nash's Crossing:
Minor flooding may occur along the Herbert River downstream of Nash's Crossing.
The Herbert River at Abergowrie Bridge is currently at 3.60 metres and falling, below the minor flood level (6.00 m).
The Herbert River at Abergowrie Bridge may reach the minor flood level (6.00 m) from Monday evening with forecast rainfall. Further rises are possible.

The Herbert River at Halifax is currently at 2.26 metres and falling, below the minor flood level (4.00 m).
The Herbert River at Halifax may reach the minor flood level (4.00 m) from Monday evening with forecast rainfall. Further rises are possible.

MODERATE FLOODING LIKELY OCCURRING AT MT BOHLE
Heavy rainfall since Sunday afternoon has caused river level rises across the Ross and Bohle River catchments. A peak is now around Mt Bohle, where moderate flooding is estimated to be occurring.
River levels along the Ross River are falling at Aplin Weir following a minor flood peak early Monday morning.
Further showers and storms are forecast for the next several days, which may cause renewed or further river level rises. This situation is being closely monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.

Ross River:
Minor flooding is likely along the Ross River.
The Ross River at Aplin Weir is currently at 1.06 metres and steady, just below the minor flood level (1.10 m).
The Ross River at Aplin Weir is likely to remain around the minor flood level (1.10 m) for the remainder of Monday and into Tuesday.

Bohle River:
Moderate flooding is likely occurring along the Bohle River.
No recent observations are available at Mt Bohle, however the river level is estimated to be above the moderate flood level (5.50 m) and nearing a peak.
The Bohle River at Mt Bohle may peak near 6.50 metres late Monday morning, with moderate flooding.
