RIVER LEVELS EASING AT HEBEL
No significant rainfall has been observed across the catchment over the last four days. Rainfall is forecast across the catchment during Friday and Saturday, but no significant renewed river level rises are expected. The situation is being monitored closely and flood warnings will recommence if required.
Balonne River downstream of Beardmore Dam:
No further flooding is expected in the Balonne River downstream of Beardmore Dam and the Bokhara River.
The Bokhara River at Hebel is currently at 1.00 metres and falling slowly.
The Bokhara River at Hebel is likely to fall below the minor flood level (1.00 m) Thursday afternoon.
