RENEWED MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT SELLHEIM FRIDAY MORNING AND BURDEKIN DAM FRIDAY EVENING
RENEWED MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT INKERMAN BRIDGE FRIDAY AFTERNOON
Rainfall overnight has resulted in renewed river level rises along the Burdekin River and rises along the Cape, Belyando and Suttor Rivers.
River level rises are occurring along the Cape River, where major flooding is likely at Taemas from Friday afternoon. River level rises are also occurring along the Belyando and Suttor Rivers, where moderate flooding is likely at St Anns during Friday morning.
Renewed rises to the moderate flood level are possible at Sellheim during Friday morning. Renewed moderate flooding is possible at Burdekin Dam, Dalbeg, Clare and Inkerman Bridge during Friday.
Further rainfall and thunderstorms are forecast over the next few days. The situation is being closely monitored, and warnings will be updated as necessary.
Belyando and Suttor Rivers to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Moderate flooding is likely along the Belyando and Suttor Rivers to Burdekin Falls Dam.
The Suttor River at St Anns is currently at 6.00 metres and rising, with minor flooding.
The Suttor River at St Anns is likely to reach the moderate flood level (6.50 m) late Friday morning. Further rises are likely with the arrival of upstream flow.
Cape River to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Major flooding is likely along the Cape River to Burdekin Falls Dam.
The Cape River at Taemas is currently at 6.51 metres and rising, with minor flooding.
The Cape River at Taemas is expected to reach the moderate flood level (7.00 m) late Friday morning. The river level is likely to reach the major flood level (8.00 m) Friday afternoon. Further rises are possible with the arrival of upstream flow.
Burdekin River to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Moderate flooding may occur along the Burdekin River to Burdekin Falls Dam.
The Burdekin River at Sellheim peaked around the moderate flood level (14.00 m) Thursday evening and is currently at 13.05 metres and falling.
Renewed river level rises are possible along the Burdekin River at Sellheim and the river level may reach the moderate flood level (14.00 m) late Friday morning.
The Burdekin River at Burdekin Dam is currently at 4.53 metres and rising, with minor flooding.
The Burdekin River at Burdekin Dam may reach the moderate flood level (5.50 m) Friday evening.
Burdekin River downstream of Burdekin Falls Dam:
Moderate flooding may occur along the Burdekin River downstream of Burdekin Falls Dam.
The Burdekin River at Dalbeg is currently at 13.88 metres and rising, above the minor flood level (10.00 m).
The Burdekin River at Dalbeg may reach the moderate flood level (15.00 m) late Friday morning. Further rises are possible with forecast rainfall.
The Burdekin River at Clare is currently at 11.50 metres and rising, above the minor flood level (9.00 m).
The Burdekin River at Clare may reach the moderate flood level (13.00 m) Friday afternoon. Further rises are possible with forecast rainfall.
The Burdekin River at Inkerman Bridge is currently at 9.23 metres and steady, above the minor flood level (7.00 m).
The Burdekin River at Inkerman Bridge may exceed the moderate flood level (10.00 m) early Friday afternoon. Further rises are possible with forecast rainfall.

MODERATE FLOODING LIKELY AT YATTON FROM LATE THURSDAY AFTERNOON
Moderate to heavy rainfall totals have been observed over the northeast part of the Fitzroy River Catchment since Monday, this has resulted in river and creek level rises along the Connors and Isaac Rivers. Moderate flooding is occurring on the Connors River at Pink Lagoon, with moderate flooding is expected further downstream on the Isaac River at Yatton.
Showers and possible heavy rainfall at times are forecast over the next few days, which may cause further river and creek level rises.
Connors and Isaac Rivers:
Moderate flooding is likely along the Connors and Isaac Rivers.
The Isaac River at Yatton is currently at 9.15 metres and rising, above the minor flood level (7.50 m).
The Isaac River at Yatton is likely to exceed the moderate flood level (9.50 m) late Thursday afternoon. The river level may reach around 10.50 metres overnight Thursday into Friday. Further rises are likely and peak predictions will be provided once upstream peaks are observed.

MINOR TO MAJOR FLOODING IS CURRENT ACROSS MULTIPLE CATCHMENTS IN THE NORTH TROPICAL AND CENTRAL COAST
FURTHER FLOODING IS POSSIBLE IN PARTS OF THE BURDEKIN, GULF COUNTRY AND THOMSON RIVER CATCHMENTS OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS
The monsoon trough extends across the base of Cape York Peninsula, and will linger across northern Queensland and enhance rainfall for several days.
Catchments across the North Tropical Coast and Central Coast areas are very wet due to recent heavy rainfall and will respond quickly to further rainfall. Gulf and Thomson River catchments are dry to moderately wet in some areas.
Isolated heavy rainfall with monsoonal rain areas and isolated thunderstorms is possible over northern Queensland and parts of central Queensland for several days.
River level rises and flooding are possible across the Flood Watch area. Elevated tides are also occurring which may enhance flooding in coastal parts of the Flood Watch area.
Isolation of communities and disruption to transport routes are possible over the next few days.

Belyando and Suttor Rivers to Burdekin Falls Dam
Cape River to Burdekin Falls Dam

Flood warnings are current for the following catchments: Gilbert River, Tully and Murray Rivers, Herbert River, Ross, Bohle and Black Rivers and Bluewater Creek, Haughton River, Don and Proserpine Rivers, Connors and Isaac Rivers, Barcoo River and parts of the Burdekin River.
