Minor Flood Warning For The North Esk River

MINOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING AT CORRA LINN
Minor flooding is occurring along the Lower North Esk river around Corra Linn.
In the 24 hours to 13:00 pm Tuesday, no significant rainfall have been recorded in the North Esk River catchment.
No significant rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Tuesday.
Rainfall totals of 10-30 mm are forecast from Wednesday evening into Thursday. Renewed river level rises are expected from overnight Wednesday.
Strong and dangerous flows may be a hazard over the next few days.
St Patricks River:
Flooding is no longer expected along the St Patricks River at Nunamara.
The St Patricks River at Nunamara Offtake is currently at 1.02 metres and steady.
Upper North Esk River:
River levels remain elevated in the Upper North Esk River during Tuesday.
Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn.
The North Esk River at Corra Linn peaked at 3.15 metres around 08:00 pm Monday 15 August and is currently at 2.78 metres and steady, with minor flooding.
The North Esk River at Corra Linn is likely to fall below the minor flood level (2.70 m) Tuesday afternoon.
