NO FURTHER FLOODING EXPECTED AT CORRA LINN
Flooding has now eased along the North Esk River.
In the 24 hours to 9:00 am Sunday, no significant rainfall was observed across the North Esk River catchment. No further significant rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Sunday.
St Patricks River:
River levels along the St Patricks River are likely to remain below the minor flood level.
The St Patricks River at Nunamara Offtake is currently at 1.15 metres and steady, below the minor flood level.
The St Patricks River at Nunamara Offtake is likely to remain below the minor flood level (1.50 m) overnight Sunday into Monday.
Upper North Esk River:
River levels are falling along the Upper North Esk River.
Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn:
No further flooding is expected in the Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn.
The North Esk River at Corra Linn peaked at 2.98 metres around 05:00 pm Friday 05 August and is currently at 2.50 metres and falling.
The North Esk River at Corra Linn is likely to remain below the minor flood level (2.70 m) overnight Sunday into Monday.
