NO FURTHER FLOODING EXPECTED AT STRATHBRIDGE AND WESTWOOD BRIDGE
Flooding has now eased along the Meander River at at Strathbridge and Westwood Bridge.
Since 9:00 am Saturday, rainfall totals of less then 5 mm have been recorded in the Meander River catchment. No further significant rainfall is forecast during Sunday.
Meander River below Strathbridge:
No further flooding is expected in the Meander River below Strathbridge.
The Meander River at Strathbridge peaked at 6.12 metres around 05:00 am Friday 05 August and is currently at 4.90 metres and falling slowly.
The Meander River at Strathbridge is likely to remain below the minor flood level (5.00 m) during Sunday.
The Meander River at Westwood Bridge peaked at 4.43 metres around 02:00 pm Friday 05 August and is currently at 3.80 metres and falling.
The Meander River at Westwood Bridge is likely to remain below the minor flood level (4.00 m) during Sunday.
