Cancellation Of Severe Thunderstorm Warning
for Barkly, Simpson, Lasseter and Tanami districts.

Thunderstorms with heavy rainfall have eased.
Weather Situation
A trough combines with a humid airmass is produced slow moving thunderstorms afternoon and evening.
cancellation of severe thunderstorm warning for the following areas:
Barkly, Simpson, Lasseter and Tanami
This warning is now cancelled.
The Northern Territory Emergency Service advises that people should:
* avoid driving into water of unknown depth and current
* stay away from fallen power lines. They are dangerous and should always be treated as live
* stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways
