MAJOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT BULGA
MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT WOLLOMBI, MAITLAND AND RAYMOND TERRACE
River levels are elevated along the upper tributaries of Wollombi Brook, where minor flooding is occurring at Wollombi. Downstream, major flooding is occurring at Bulga.
River levels remain elevated along the Lower Hunter River, where minor flooding is occurring at Maitland and Raymond Terrace. Small renewed rises are possible during Saturday as upstream flows from Wollombi Brook arrive.
Rainfall has eased and no widespread significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.
Wollombi Brook:
Major flooding is occurring along Wollombi Brook.
The Wollombi Brook at Wollombi is currently at 7.63 metres and falling, above the minor flood level (6.70 m).
The Wollombi Brook at Wollombi may fall below the minor flood level (6.70 m) Saturday afternoon.
The Wollombi Brook at Bulga is currently at 5.01 metres and rising, above the major flood level (4.60 m).
The Wollombi Brook at Bulga is likely to peak near 5.30 metres Saturday evening, with major flooding.
Lower Hunter:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Lower Hunter.
The Hunter River at Singleton is currently at 8.90 metres and steady, below the minor flood level (10.00 m).
The Hunter River at Singleton is expected to remain below the minor flood level (10.00 m).
The Hunter River at Maitland (Belmore Bridge) is currently at 7.78 metres and falling, with minor flooding.
The Hunter River at Maitland (Belmore Bridge) is likely to remain above the minor flood level (5.90 m) for the remainder of Saturday.
The Hunter River at Raymond Terrace is currently at 2.92 metres and falling, above the minor flood level (2.50 m).
The Hunter River at Raymond Terrace may remain above the minor flood level (2.50 m) for the remainder of Saturday.

Rainfall continues to ease across the catchment of the Macleay River and river levels are falling. Minor flooding continues along the Macleay River at Georges Creek and Bellbrook. Moderate flooding is occurring at Kempsey and Smithtown with river levels expected to remain above moderate levels for the remainder of Friday and Saturday.

The Macleay River at Georges Creek is currently at 6.83 metres and falling, with minor flooding.
The Macleay River at Georges Creek is expected to fall below the minor flood level (6.00 m) Saturday morning.
The Macleay River at Bellbrook is currently at 7.69 metres and falling, with minor flooding.
The Macleay River at Bellbrook is expected to fall below the minor flood level (6.50 m) Saturday morning.

Rainfall has eased across the Manning and Gloucester River catchments and river levels are falling slowly. River levels at Taree fell below the major flood level Friday morning, with moderate flooding continuing.

Minor to moderate flooding is occurring along the Manning River.
The Manning River at Wingham is currently at 6.91 metres and falling, with minor flooding.
The Manning River at Wingham is likely to fall below the minor flood level (4.90 m) during Saturday.
The Manning River at Taree is currently at 2.68 metres and falling slowly, with moderate flooding.

FLOODING NO LONGER OCCURRING AT WILCANNIA
River levels along the Darling River at Wilcannia fell below the minor flood level overnight Wednesday.
Based on current forecast river flows and WaterNSW operational strategy, flooding is not expected at Menindee Town gauge. The Bureau will continue working closely with WaterNSW and new warning will be issued if the situation changes.
Darling River downstream of Tilpa to Wilcannia:
No further flooding is expected in the Darling River downstream of Tilpa to Wilcannia.
The Darling River at Wilcannia is currently at 8.82 metres and steady, below the minor flood level (9.00 m).
