Heavy rainfall has eased through the Central Tablelands, Central West Slopes and Plains and South West Slopes this morning. Light to moderate rainfall is ongoing through the area.
Some isolated heavy rainfall is possible again through southeast New South Wales this afternoon and evening. Severe thunderstorm warnings will be issued if this occurs.
Mandurama Post Office recorded 75.2mm in the 6 hours to 08:00 am.
Cowra Airport recorded 64.0 mm in the 6 hours to 08:00 am.
Newbridge (Stringybark Rd) recorded 60.0 mm in the 6 hours to 08:15 am.
Bathurst (Chifley Dam) recorded 48.0 mm in the 6 hours to 08:20 am.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Don't walk, ride or drive through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Beware of fallen trees or debris on the road.
