MINOR FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT WALGETT
A Moderate Flood Warning is current for the Namoi River at Gunnedah. The flood peak is approaching Walgett on the Barwon River with river levels likely to peak below the minor flood level (10.50 m).
Barwon River downstream of Collarenebri to Walgett:
Minor flooding is no longer expected at Walgett.
The Barwon River at Walgett is currently at 9.87 m, below the minor flood level, and approaching a peak.
The Barwon River at Walgett is likely to peak below the minor flood level (10.50 m) Friday afternoon.
