MODERATE FLOODING PEAKING AT MARION DOWNS
MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING ALONG EYRE CREEK
River and creek levels downstream of Marion Downs will remain elevated and flooding will continue as the floodwaters continue to slowly move downstream.
No significant rainfall has been recorded since early April. No significant rainfall totals are expected over the next few days.
Georgina River to Marion Downs:
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Georgina River to Marion Downs.
No recent river level observations are available for the Georgina River at Marion Downs. At 9:00 am today, the Georgina River at Marion Downs was at 4.65 metres and peaking, with moderate flooding.
The Georgina River at Marion Downs is expected to remain above the moderate flood level (4.00 m) for the next few days.
Georgina River downstream of Marion Downs:
River levels are elevated along the Georgina River downstream of Marion Downs.
Eyre Creek:
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Eyre Creek.
No recent creek level observations are available for Eyre Creek at Bedourie. At 3:00 pm on Tuesday , the Eyre Creek at Bedourie was 4.13 metres and rising slowly, with moderate flooding.
The Eyre Creek at Bedourie is likely to remain above the moderate flood level (4.00 m) for the next few days.
No recent creek level observations are available for Eyre Creek at Glengyle. At 4:30 pm on Sunday, the Eyre Creek at Glengyle was at 2.98 metres and steady, near the moderate flood level (3.00 m).
The Eyre Creek at Glengyle is likely to remain around the moderate flood level (3.00 m) for the next few days.
