for Northern Tablelands, Illawarra, Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands, South West Slopes, Snowy Mountains and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts

Warning to Sheep Graziers for the following areas:
Northern Tablelands, Illawarra, Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands, South West Slopes, Snowy Mountains and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts
Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, rain and showers and westerly winds are expected during Wednesday. Areas likely to be affected include the Southern Tablelands, South West Slopes, Snowy Mountains and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts and parts of the Northern Tablelands, Illawarra and Central Tablelands forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.

for Illawarra and South Coast Forecast Districts.

Damaging wind gusts no longer expected.

Weather Situation
A low pressure system west of Tasmania is moving east as a cold front moves further off the NSW coast into the Tasman Sea. These two systems are combining to produce strong west to northwesterly flow over parts of eastern NSW. However, the risk of damaging winds has eased.

94 km/h wind gust recorded at Bellambi at 4:28 pm.
96 km/h wind gust recorded at Shellharbour Airport at 2:13 pm.
102 km/h wind gust recorded at Badgerys Creek Airport at 1:08 pm.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Don't walk, ride or drive through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Beware of fallen trees or debris on the road.
* Stay vigilant and monitor conditions. Note that the landscape may have changed following bushfires.
