Hunter, Central Tablelands, North West Slopes and Plains and Northern Tablelands
Severe thunderstorms have eased over the state in the past hour. Redevelopment of severe thunderstorms with locally heavy rainfall remains possible later in the night and early Thursday morning over the northern inland and the Hunter area.
This warning is now cancelled. Other warnings may be current. Please check https://www.bom.gov.au/weather-and-climate/warnings-and-alerts/.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Don't walk, ride your bike or drive through flood water.
* Stay vigilant and monitor conditions. Note that the landscape may have changed following bushfires.
* For emergency help in floods and storms, ring the SES (NSW and ACT) on 132 500.
No further warnings will be issued for this event.
