MINOR FLOODING CONTINUES AT WILLARA CROSSING AND WANAARING
Multiple minor flood peaks are moving through the Paroo River.
A minor flood peak is now around Willara Crossing. Downstream, minor flooding is estimated to be occurring at Wanaaring and is likely to continue for the next few days as flows arrive from upstream.
A Minor Flood Warning is current for the Paroo River in Queensland.
Paroo River (NSW):
Minor flooding is occurring along the Paroo River downstream of Hungerford.
The Paroo River at Willara Crossing is currently at 1.28 m and steady, with minor flooding.
The Paroo River at Willara Crossing is likely to peak near 1.30 m around Friday afternoon, with minor flooding.
As at Wednesday 1:00 pm, the Paroo River at Wanaaring was at 2.38 m and steady, just below the minor flood level.
The Paroo River at Wanaaring is expected to remain around the minor flood level (2.40 m) through to early next week.

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
