Warning to Sheep Graziers for the following areas:
Mid North Coast, Northern Tablelands, Illawarra, South Coast, Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands, Central West Slopes & Plains, South West Slopes, Snowy Mountains and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts
Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and southwesterly winds are expected during Monday and Tuesday. Areas likely to be affected include the Southern Tablelands and Snowy Mountains forecast districts and parts of the Mid North Coast, Northern Tablelands, Illawarra, South Coast, Central Tablelands, Central West Slopes & Plains, South West Slopes and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.

The Warning to Sheep Graziers for the Hunter and North West Slopes & Plains forecast districts has been cancelled.

The next warning will be issued by 11:00 pm EDT Monday.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning
for Damaging Winds

for Central West Slopes and Plains, South West Slopes and parts of Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands, Riverina, Lower Western, Upper Western and Snowy Mountains Forecast Districts.

Issued at 4:34 pm Monday, 1 December 2025.

Isolated gusty thunderstorms in the west.

Weather Situation
A cold pool moving over western New South Wales this afternoon is triggering isolated thunderstorms that are generating some localised damaging wind gusts.
DAMAGING WINDS for the following areas:
Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands, Central West Slopes and Plains, South West Slopes, Riverina, Lower Western, Upper Western and Snowy Mountains
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Orange, Dubbo, Wagga Wagga, Cobar, Parkes and Nyngan.
94 km/h wind gust was recorded at Condobolin at 3:30 pm

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move your car under cover or away from trees.
* Secure or put away loose items around your house, yard and balcony.
* Keep at least 8 metres away from fallen power lines or objects that may be energised, such as fences.
* Report fallen power lines to either Ausgrid (131 388), Endeavour Energy (131 003), Essential Energy (132 080) or Evoenergy (131 093) as shown on your power bill.
* Trees that have been damaged by fire are likely to be more unstable and more likely to fall.
* Unplug computers and appliances.
* Avoid using the phone during the storm.
* Stay indoors away from windows, and keep children and pets indoors as well.
* Stay vigilant and monitor conditions. Note that the landscape may have changed following bushfires.
* For emergency help in floods and storms, ring the SES (NSW and ACT) on 132 500.

The next warning is due to be issued by 7:35 pm.
Warnings are also available through TV and Radio broadcasts, the Bureau's website at www.bom.gov.au or call 1300 659 210. The Bureau and State Emergency Service would appreciate warnings being broadcast regularly.
