Cancellation Of Severe Thunderstorm Warning

for South Coast Forecast District.

Severe thunderstorms over the South Coast have eased.

Weather Situation
A very humid airmass combines with a slow moving trough of low-pressure to produce isolated thunderstorms over the south of the state this evening.
cancellation of severe thunderstorm warning for the following areas:
South Coast
This warning is now cancelled.
Isolated thunderstorms are continuing over southeast Riverina and South Coast but are not expected to be severe.
A separate Severe Weather Warning for heavy rainfall is also current for Lower Western and Upper Western Forecast Districts. Please check https://www.bom.gov.au/weather-and-climate/warnings-and-alerts for more information.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Don't walk, ride your bike or drive through flood water.
* Beware of fallen trees or debris on the road.
