Thunderstorms have weakened in the south east.
Weather Situation
Upper atmospheric instability is combining with a moist airmass to produce thunderstorms. Heavy rainfall was observed earlier with storms in the southeast, including in Canberra and Queanbeyan. Rainfall has eased now, but may redevelop about southern inland parts over the next couple of hours.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Don't walk, ride your bike or drive through flood water.
* Beware of fallen trees or debris on the road.
