MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT GONGOLGON WEDNESDAY
MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT DANDALOO
The main flood peak along the Bogan River has passed Monkey Bridge and is now approaching Gongolgon, where a moderate flood peak is possible from Wednesday.
A second and smaller flood peak is now approaching Dandaloo, where minor flooding is occurring.
Bogan River to Nyngan:
Minor flooding is possible along the Bogan River at Dandaloo.
The Bogan River at Dandaloo may peak near 4.70 metres late Tuesday, with minor flooding.
Lower Bogan River:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Lower Bogan River at Gongolgon, with moderate flooding possible.
The Bogan River at Gongolgon may peak near the moderate flood level (1.00 metres) during Wednesday.

The Mirrool Creek at East Mirrool Regulator is currently at 1.31 metres and falling with minor flooding.

MAJOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT WARREN
MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT WELLINGTON
Moderate rainfall late last week has caused minor to major flooding along the Macquarie River. The main flood has passed Warren, where major flooding continues.
In response to upstream dam releases, at Wellington Bridge, the Macquarie River is expected to remain steady above minor flood levels through to Tuesday. River levels downstream at Dubbo are expected to remain below the minor flood level.
Macquarie River downstream of Burrendong Dam:
Minor flooding is occurring at Wellington. Major flooding is occurring along the Macquarie River at Warren.
The Macquarie River at Wellington Bridge is expected to remain steady around 5.60 metres through to Tuesday, with minor flooding.
The Macquarie River at Warren town gauge peaked near 9.20 metres around 11:30 am Monday morning. Based on recent manual observations, the river is currently near 9.00 metres and falling slowly, with major flooding.

Minor Flood Warning For The Lachlan River

MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT COTTONS WEIR AND LIKELY AT JEMALONG
The main flood peak along the Lachlan River is currently arriving at Forbes where the river level is close to its peak and is expected to remain below the minor flood level (8.80 metres).
Minor flooding is occurring at Cottons Weir and minor flooding is likely at Jemalong from Tuesday.
River levels along the lower Lachlan River at Hillston fell below the minor flood level (2.40 metres) Monday morning.
Minor flooding continues at Booligal.
Lachlan River downstream of Wyangala Dam to Jemalong Weir:
Minor flooding is occurring at Cottons Weir and is likely at Jemalong.
The Lachlan River at Forbes Iron Bridge is currently at 8.33 metres and peaking, below the minor flood level (8.80 metres).
The Lachlan River at Cottons Weir may peak near 4.60 metres during Monday with minor flooding.
The Lachlan River at Jemalong Weir Downstream may reach the minor flood level (7.20 m) Tuesday afternoon. Further rises are possible.
Lower Lachlan River downstream of Euabalong to Booligal Weir:
Minor flooding is occurring at Booligal.
The Lachlan River at Hillston Weir peaked at 2.43 metres around 06:00 pm Thursday 04 August and is currently at 2.39 metres and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Lachlan River at Booligal Weir may reach around 2.90 metres over the weekend 13-14 August.

RIVER LEVELS HAVE FALLEN BELOW MINOR AT MENDOORAN
A moderate flood peak occurred along the Castlereagh River at Mendooran on Friday afternoon, and fell below the minor flood level on Saturday morning.
Downstream locations are expected to remain below the minor flood level.
Castlereagh River:
No further flooding is expected in the Castlereagh River.
The Castlereagh River at Mendooran peaked at 5.85 metres around 02:15 pm Friday 05 August and fell below the minor flood level (3.30 metres) around 11:00am on Saturday. No further flooding is expected.
