Severe thunderstorms have temporarily eased over Sydney and the Central Coast.

Severe thunderstorms in the warning area have temporarily eased. However, the redevelopment of severe thunderstorms remains possible. The situation is being closely monitored and further detailed warnings will be issued as necessary.

36 mm was recorded at Shanes Park in the 30 minutes to 6:32 am
51 mm was recorded at Rose Bay in the 30 minutes to 5:31 am
44 mm was recorded at Little Bay in the 30 minutes to 5:07 am
42 mm was recorded at Wahroonga in the 30 minutes to 3:13 am
51 mm was recorded at Allambie in the 30 minutes to 3:04 am
64 mm was recorded at Pearl Beach Reservoir in the 60 minutes to 2:27 am
