Warning to Sheep Graziers for the following areas:
Northern Tablelands, South Coast, Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands, Snowy Mountains and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts
Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures and westerly winds are expected during Saturday and Sunday. Areas likely to be affected include the Snowy Mountains forecast district and parts of the Northern Tablelands, South Coast, Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.

Mid North Coast, Hunter, Illawarra, North West Slopes & Plains, Central West Slopes & Plains, South West Slopes, Riverina and Lower Western forecast districts
The Warning to Sheep Graziers for the Mid North Coast, Hunter, Illawarra, North West Slopes & Plains, Central West Slopes & Plains, South West Slopes, Riverina and Lower Western forecast districts has been cancelled.

The next warning will be issued by 11:00 pm EST Saturday.

Winds have eased throughout New South Wales.

Weather Situation
Winds have eased below warning thresholds throughout the state as a cold front moves further east into the Tasman.
cancellation of severe weather warning for the following areas:
Mid North Coast, Hunter, Illawarra, South Coast, Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands, North West Slopes and Plains, Snowy Mountains and Northern Tablelands
This warning is now cancelled. Other warnings may be current. Please check www.bom.gov.au/australia/warnings/.
Sustained 69 km/h winds were recorded at Cooma Airport at 11:43 am.
96 km/h gust was recorded at Newcastle Nobbys Signal Station at 9:29 am.
Sustained 65 km/h winds were recorded at Murrurundi Gap at 9:00 am.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Don't walk, ride or drive through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Beware of fallen trees or debris on the road.
* Stay vigilant and monitor conditions. Note that the landscape may have changed following bushfires.

No further warnings will be issued for this event.

Moderate Flood Warning For The Namoi River

Flood Warning Number: 82

MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT BUGILBONE AND POSSIBLE AT GOANGRA MID NEXT WEEK
The flood peak along the Namoi River, resulting from recent rainfall, is approaching Bugilbone, where moderate flooding is occurring.
Further downstream, minor flooding is occurring at Goangra, with renewed river level rises likely from Saturday afternoon. River levels may reach around the moderate flood level by mid next week.

Namoi River:
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Namoi River at Bugilbone. Minor flooding is occurring at Goangra, with moderate flooding possible.
The Namoi River at Bugilbone is currently at 5.53 m and steady, above the moderate flood level (5.50 m).
The Namoi River at Bugilbone may peak near 5.80 m during Sunday, with moderate flooding.

The Namoi River at Goangra is currently at 5.67 m and steady, with minor flooding.
Renewed river level rises are likely from Saturday afternoon, continuing into mid next week. The river may reach around the moderate flood level (6.70 m) Wednesday morning.

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
