Severe thunderstorms in the warning area have temporarily eased. However, the redevelopment of severe thunderstorms remains possible. The situation is being closely monitored and further detailed warnings will be issued as necessary.
65 mm of rainfall was recorded at Upper Caboolture in the 50 minutes to 7:14 pm.
57 mm of rainfall was recorded at Lees Crossing in the 40 minutes to 6:35 pm.
50 mm of rainfall was recorded at Dayboro (Terrors Creek) in the 30 minutes to 6:31 pm.
47 mm of rainfall was recorded at Reedy Creek in the 30 minutes to 6:03 pm.
46 mm of rainfall was recorded at Hays Landing in the 30 minutes to 5:34 pm.
41 mm of rainfall was recorded at Lowood in the 30 minutes to 5:32 pm.
50 mm of rainfall was recorded at Wivenhoe Dam in the 30 minutes to 5:31 pm.
58 mm of rainfall was recorded at Mt Stradbroke in the 30 minutes to 5:25 pm.
43 mm of rainfall was recorded at Buaraba in the 30 minutes to 5:14 pm.
43 mm of rainfall was recorded at UQ Gatton in the 30 minutes to 5:00 pm.

* Never drive, walk, play or ride through floodwater. It is dangerous.
* Stay away from storm water drains.
* Stay away from fallen powerlines.
* Drive slowly and never drive through floodwaters. If the road is flooded or damaged, go another way.

A more general severe thunderstorm warning is also current for parts of the Peninsula, Gulf Country, North Tropical Coast and Tablelands, Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders, Herbert and Lower Burdekin, Wide Bay and Burnett and Southeast Coast districts.
Other warnings may be current.
The next warning is due to be issued by 9:45 pm.
