MINOR FLOODING LIKELY TO CONTINUE AT ST ANNS FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS
Flooding is continuing to ease at St Anns where the river level fell below the moderate flood level early Wednesday evening. The river level is likely to continue easing over the next few days.
Showers are forecast in the catchment for the next few days but are not expected to have a significant impact on current river levels.

Belyando and Suttor Rivers to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Minor flooding is easing along the Suttor River.
The Suttor River at St Anns is currently at 6.18 m and falling slowly, with minor flooding.
The Suttor River at St Anns is likely to remain above the minor flood level (4.00 m) for the next few days.

Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
