Minor Flood Warning For The Dawson River

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT MOURA AND BARALABA FRIDAY
Moderate rainfall during the past week has resulted in river rises along the Dawson River and its tributaries.
The flood peak is now downstream of Taroom where the river level fell below the minor flood level Tuesday evening. River level rises are occurring along the Middle Dawson River where minor flooding may develop at Moura and Baralaba from Friday. The situation is being monitored and this warning will be updated as required.
Dawson River downstream of Theodore:
Minor flooding is possible along the Dawson River downstream of Theodore.
No observations are currently available for the Dawson River at Moura.
The Dawson River at Moura may reach around the minor flood level (6.00 m) during Friday.
No observations are currently available for the Dawson River at Baralaba.
The Dawson River at Baralaba may exceed the minor flood level (4.00 m) during Friday. The river may reach around 5.50 m during Saturday, with minor flooding.
