FLOODING HAS EASED AT WALKERS BEND
Along the lower Flinders River at Walkers Bend, flooding has eased following major flooding during January.
Moderate rainfall may redevelop from late this week primarily to the east of the catchment in the upper Flinders, which may cause renewed river level rises. This situation is being closely monitored, and warnings will be issued as required.

Flinders River downstream of Richmond:
Flooding is no longer occurring along the lower Flinders River at Walkers Bend.
The Flinders River at Walkers Bend is currently at 3.09 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Flinders River at Walkers Bend is expected to remain below the minor flood level (5.00 m) for the next few days.

Final Flood Warning For The Bulloo River

FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT THARGOMINDAH
Heavy rainfall from late last week has resulted in river level rises across the catchment. The main flood peak has passed through Autumnvale and is approaching Thargomindah along the lower Bulloo River. However, the river level is expected to peak below the minor flood level at Thargomindah.

Bulloo River downstream of Quilpie:
No further flooding is expected along the Bulloo River downstream of Quilpie.
No observations are currently available for the Bulloo River at Thargomindah. Based on upstream gauges, it is expected that the river level is below the minor flood level (4.00 m) and rising.
The Bulloo River at Thargomindah is expected to peak below the minor flood level (4.00 m) during Thursday.

Minor flooding has now eased along the Isaac River at Yatton.
As the flood peak moves downstream, river levels are expected to remain below the minor flood level at forecast locations along the Lower Fitzroy River.

Minor flooding has eased along the Isaac River at Yatton.
The Isaac River at Yatton is currently at 6.01 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Isaac River at Yatton is likely to remain below the minor flood level (7.50 m).

Minor Flood Warning For The Diamantina River

MINOR FLOODING LIKELY AT BIRDSVILLE FROM LATE TUESDAY
River levels remain elevated along the Diamantina River, where the main flood peak is downstream of Monkira and slowly approaching Birdsville. Minor flooding is likely to develop at Birdsville from late Tuesday.
River levels at Diamantina Lakes are now below both the minor flood level and causeway.
Further areas of showers and rainfall are possible over parts of the catchment over the next few days which may see renewed river level rises in some areas. This warning will be updated as required.

Diamantina River to Diamantina Lakes:
The Diamantina River at Diamantina Lakes has fallen below the minor flood level (2.00 m) as well as the level of the Springvale Diamantina Lakes Road Causeway (2.10 m).
Diamantina River downstream of Diamantina Lakes:
Minor flooding is occurring at Monkira. River level rises are occurring along the lower Diamantina River downstream of Monkira.
The Diamantina River at Birdsville Police Station is currently at 3.00 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Diamantina River at Birdsville Police Station is likely to exceed the minor flood level (4.00 m) from late Tuesday. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.

Minor Flood Warning For The Barcoo River And Cooper Creek, And Final Flood Warning For The Thomson River

MINOR FLOODING EASING AT RETREAT AND ESTIMATED TO BE OCCURRING AT WINDORAH
Along the Thomson River, a second flood peak has now moved downstream of Jundah where minor flooding has eased. It is likely that this second flood peak is now on the Cooper Creek around Windorah, where it is estimated that the river level is above the minor flood level and around a peak.
Moderate rainfall was observed along parts of the Barcoo River during Thursday into Friday last week which resulted in river level rises and a minor flood peak at Retreat during Sunday evening.
Further areas of showers and rainfall are possible over parts of the catchment over the next few days which may see renewed river level rises in some areas. This warning will be updated as required.

Thomson River:
Minor flooding has eased along the Thomson River.
The Thomson River at Jundah is currently at 2.40 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Thomson River at Jundah is expected to remain below the minor flood level (2.50 m).

Barcoo River downstream of Isisford:
Minor flooding is easing along the Barcoo River at Retreat.
The Barcoo River at Retreat peaked at 2.95 m around 6:00 pm Sunday, with minor flooding. The river is currently at 2.51 m and falling, with minor flooding.
The Barcoo River at Retreat is likely to fall below the minor flood level (2.14 m) overnight Monday into Tuesday.

Cooper Creek:
Minor flooding is expected to be occurring along Cooper Creek.
No observations are currently available for the Cooper Creek at Windorah. Based on upstream gauges, it is estimated that the creek level is above the minor flood level and nearing a peak.
The Cooper Creek at Windorah may peak near 4.00 m Monday afternoon, above the minor flood level (3.00 m).
