Cancellation Of Severe Thunderstorm Warning
for Maranoa and Warrego and Darling Downs and Granite Belt Forecast Districts.

Severe thunderstorms have eased over southern Queensland.
Weather Situation
A line of thunderstorms has moved over the NSW border and is now moving north through the Granite Belt and eastern parts of the Maranoa and Warrego districts. These storms will continue to move north and may persist throughout the remainder of the evening, but are no longer expected to be severe.

Emergency services advise people to:
* Never drive, walk, play or ride through floodwater. It is dangerous.
* Stay away from storm water drains.
* Stay away from fallen powerlines.
* Drive slowly and never drive through floodwaters. If the road is flooded or damaged, go another way.
* For storm help, call the SES on 132 500 or download the free SES Assistance QLD app.
No further warnings will be issued for this event.

The chance of a thunderstorm, possibly severe with damaging winds and large hail in the S and E. Winds NW/NE 15 to 20 km/h tending W/SW 20 to 30 km/h in the middle of the day then tending NE/SE 15 to 25 km/h in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 12 and 18 with daytime temperatures reaching 32 to 37.
