Moderate Flood Warning For The Warrill Creek And Minor Flood Warning For The Bremer River

WARRILL CREEK AT AMBERLEY MAY PEAK NEAR THE MODERATE FLOOD LEVEL SUNDAY EVENING
MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING ALONG THE BREMER RIVER
Moderate to heavy rainfall has been observed in the Bremer River and Warrill Creek catchments since Friday. Areas of flooding and river level rises are occurring along the Bremer River and Warrill Creek. The Warrill Creek at Amberley may peak close to the moderate flood level Sunday evening.
Further rainfall is forecast during Sunday which may cause renewed river levels in parts of the catchment. The situation is being closely monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.
Warrill Creek:
Moderate flooding is possible along the Warrill Creek.
The Warrill Creek at Harrisville peaked around 4.20 m around 6:00 am Sunday, with moderate flooding. The creek is currently at 3.74 m and falling, with minor flooding.
The Warrill Creek at Harrisville may fall below the minor flood level (3.00 m) Sunday afternoon.
The Warrill Creek at Amberley is currently at 4.42 m and rising, with minor flooding.
The Warrill Creek at Amberley may peak near the moderate flood level (5.50 m) Sunday evening.
Bremer River:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Bremer River.
The Bremer River at Rosewood is currently at 4.56 m and steady, with minor flooding.
The Bremer River at Rosewood is likely to peak near 4.70 m Sunday morning, with minor flooding.
The Bremer River at Five Mile Bridge is currently at 3.94 m and rising, with minor flooding.
The Bremer River at Five Mile Bridge may peak near 4.50 m Sunday afternoon, with minor flooding.
The Bremer River at Walloon is currently at 3.87 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Bremer River at Walloon is likely to exceed the minor flood level (5.00 m) early Sunday afternoon. The river may peak near 5.50 m Sunday afternoon, with minor flooding.

Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
