MINOR FLOODING CONTINUES TO EASE AT CUNNAMULLA BRIDGE AND ROCKY
River levels along the Lower Warrego River at Cunnamulla Bridge and Rocky may fall below the minor flood level over the weekend.
No significant rainfall is forecast across the catchment for the next few days.
Warrego River downstream of Charleville:
Minor flooding is easing along the Warrego River between Cunnamulla and Rocky.
The Warrego River at Cunnamulla Bridge was last observed at 6.44 metres and falling, around 7:00 am Thursday, above the minor flood level (6.00 m). Late Friday morning the river level is estimated to be above the minor flood level and easing.
The river level is expected to continue easing slowly over the next few days and may fall below the minor flood level (6.00 m) over the weekend.
The Warrego River at Rocky was last observed at 3.60 metres and falling, around 5:45 am Thursday, above the minor flood level (2.50 m). Late Friday morning the river level is estimated to be above the minor flood level and easing.
The river level is expected to continue easing slowly over the next few days and may fall below the minor flood level (2.50 m) over the weekend.
