Moderate Flood Warning For The Isaac River

MODERATE FLOODING CONTINUES AT YATTON FOLLOWING A PEAK MONDAY MORNING
The main peak along the Isaac River has now passed Yatton, where moderate flooding continues and river levels are falling slowly. At this stage, river levels along the Mackenzie River at Tartrus and downstream are expected to remain below minor flood levels.
No significant rainfall is forecast across the catchment for the next few days.

Connors and Isaac Rivers:
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Isaac River at Yatton. Minor flooding is occurring along Connors River at Pink Lagoon.
The Isaac River at Yatton peaked at 11.58 m during Monday morning, with moderate flooding. The river is currently at 11.53 m and falling slowly, with moderate flooding.
The Isaac River at Yatton may fall below the moderate flood level (9.50 m) around Tuesday afternoon.

Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
