MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT WOODFORD AND GREGOR CREEK FROM OVERNIGHT SUNDAY
Moderate to heavy rainfall is forecast across the Upper Brisbane and Stanley catchments during Sunday and into Monday. With forecast rainfall, moderate flooding may occur along the Stanley River at Woodford and along the Upper Brisbane River at Gregor Creek early from overnight Sunday into Monday.
The situation is being monitored closely and this warning will be updated as required.
A Flood Watch is current for most of Queensland. A Severe Weather Warning for heavy rainfall is current.

Stanley River to Somerset Dam:
Moderate flooding is possible along the Stanley River at Woodford.
The Stanley River at Woodford is currently at 2.55 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Stanley River at Woodford may exceed the minor flood level (5.00 m) Sunday afternoon. The river may reach around the moderate flood level (6.10 m) overnight Sunday into Monday.

Brisbane River to Wivenhoe Dam:
Moderate flooding is possible along the Upper Brisbane River at Gregor Creek.
The Brisbane River at Gregor Creek is currently at 0.94 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Brisbane River at Gregor Creek may exceed the minor flood level (3.50 m) overnight Sunday into Monday. The river may reach around the moderate flood level (4.50 m) early Monday morning.

Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.

Heavy rainfall continuing in the north and southeast.

Weather Situation
Tropical Low 29U is situated in northern parts of the North West district and will gradually move to the southeast during Sunday. The monsoon trough extends inland from this low and is focusing heavy rainfall through the northern interior. Meanwhile rich tropical moisture feeding into a developing trough in southeast Queensland will see rainfall increasing during Sunday and continuing during Monday.
HEAVY RAINFALL for the following areas:
Gulf Country, Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders, North West, Central Highlands and Coalfields, Central West, Capricornia, Wide Bay and Burnett, Maranoa and Warrego, Darling Downs and Granite Belt and Southeast Coast
FOR THE NORTHERN INTERIOR: HEAVY RAINFALL which may lead to FLASH FLOODING is possible over parts of the northern interior this morning. Six-hourly rainfall totals between 25 and 50 mm are likely, with isolated totals around 100 mm possible. 24-hourly rainfall totals between 50 and 70 mm are likely, with isolated totals around 120 mm possible.
FOR THE SOUTH EAST: HEAVY RAINFALL which may lead to FLASH FLOODING is expected over parts of the Maranoa and Warrego, Darling Downs and Granite Belt, Southeast Coast, Wide Bay and Burnett and Central Highlands and Coalfields. Six-hourly rainfall totals between 40 and 80 mm are likely, with isolated totals around 100 mm possible. Isolated falls around 170 mm are possible on the Sunshine Coast. 24-hourly rainfall totals between 50 and 100 mm are likely, with isolated totals around 150 mm possible.
There is some uncertainty where the heaviest rainfall will occur, particularly through the southeast of the state. Further extensions towards the coast and north into the Capricornia district are possible for Sunday night into Monday.

Locations which may be affected include Toowoomba, Dalby, Maroochydore, Roma, Gympie, Winton, Cloncurry and Kingaroy.
111 mm was recorded at Sardine Creek in the 6 hours to 2:44 am.

* Charge mobile phones and power banks in case the power goes out.

* Go inside a strong building now. Stay inside until the storm has passed.

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT HOWARD AND PACIFIC HAVEN FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON
Moderate to heavy rainfall is forecast across the Burrum and Cherwell River catchments from overnight Saturday through to Monday. This is likely to result in river and creek level rises. With forecast rainfall, minor flooding is possible at Pacific Haven and Howard from Sunday afternoon.

Burrum and Cherwell Rivers:
Minor flooding is possible at Howard and Pacific Haven.
The Burrum River at Howard is currently at 4.86 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
With forecast rainfall, the Burrum River at Howard may exceed the minor flood level (6.00 m) from Sunday afternoon. Further rises are possible.

The Cherwell River at Pacific Haven is currently at 0.34 m and falling, below the minor flood level.

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT BUCCA WEIR FROM OVERNIGHT SUNDAY INTO MONDAY
Heavy rainfall was observed across the Baffle Creek catchment overnight Friday into Saturday which has resulted in creek level rises. Levels along the Baffle Creek are rising, with minor flooding likely at Essendean Bridge from overnight Saturday and moderate flooding possible from Sunday morning. Further moderate to heavy rainfall is forecast for the next few days, which may result in further rises.
Moderate to heavy rainfall is forecast across the Kolan River catchment, which may result in river level rises and minor flooding at Bucca Weir from overnight Sunday into Monday.
This situation is being monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.

Minor flooding is possible along the Kolan River at Bucca Weir.
The Kolan River at Bucca Weir is currently at 16.27 m AHD and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Kolan River at Bucca Weir may exceed the minor flood level (17.50 m AHD) from overnight Sunday into Monday. Further rises are possible with forecast rain.

Baffle Creek:
Moderate flooding is possible along the Baffle Creek at Essendean Bridge.
The Baffle Creek at Essendean Bridge is currently at 2.22 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Baffle Creek at Essendean Bridge is likely to exceed the minor flood level (5.00 m) from overnight Saturday into Sunday. The creek may reach around the moderate flood level (6.20 m) from Sunday morning. Further rises are possible with forecast rain.

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT YATTON OVERNIGHT SUNDAY INTO MONDAY
Moderate to heavy rainfall has been observed across parts of the Connors and Isaac Rivers. Rainfall has been particularly heavy across the Funnel Creek catchment, where river levels are rising rapidly. Minor flooding may develop along the Isaac River at Yatton overnight Sunday into Monday.
Further rainfall is forecast for the remainder of the weekend and into next week. Higher and earlier river level rises are possible, depending on the timing and intensity of rainfall.

Minor flooding is possible at Yatton with further rises possible with forecast rain.
