HEAVY RAINFALL and DAMAGING WINDS for the following areas:
Cherbourg, Gympie, Somerset, South Burnett, Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay
The Bureau of Meteorology warns that, at 6:10 pm, severe thunderstorms likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and damaging winds were detected near the area northeast of Kingaroy, Dayboro and Mount Mee. These thunderstorms are moving towards the east to northeast. They are forecast to affect Caboolture, Wamuran and Beerburrum by 6:40 pm and the area southwest of Caloundra, the ranges between Gympie and Murgon and northern Bribie Island by 7:10 pm.

The Bureau of Meteorology warns that, at 6:10 pm, severe thunderstorms likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and damaging winds were detected near the area northeast of Kingaroy, Dayboro and Mount Mee. Very warm and humid onshore flow is combining with a trough of low pressure to produce severe thunderstorms over parts of southeast Queensland today. Meanwhile over the central north, persistent thunderstorm activity is producing possible heavy rainfall.
HEAVY RAINFALL and DAMAGING WINDS for the following areas:
Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders, Wide Bay and Burnett and Southeast Coast
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and damaging winds over the next several hours in parts of the Wide Bay and Burnett and Southeast Coast districts. Locations which may be affected include Maroochydore, Gympie, Gayndah, Redcliffe, Nanango and Caboolture.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding over the next several hours in parts of the Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders district. Locations which may be affected include Georgetown, Forsayth and Einasleigh.
Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in the Herbert and Lower Burdekin district and the warning for this district is CANCELLED.
