Cancellation Of Severe Thunderstorm Warning - Southeast Queensland
for Ipswich, Logan, Scenic Rim and Brisbane City Council Areas.

Thunderstorms have now eased over southeast Queensland.

Ipswich, Logan, Scenic Rim and Brisbane City
Severe thunderstorms are no longer affecting the Southeast Queensland area (east of Dalby from Rainbow Beach to Stanthorpe). Clusters of showers and isolated storm activity may continue into the evening, but the risk of severity has now eased. The situation is being closely monitored and further detailed warnings will be issued as necessary.
This warning is now cancelled.
Emergency services advise people to:
* Never drive, walk, play or ride through floodwater. It is dangerous.
* Stay away from storm water drains.
* Stay away from fallen powerlines.
* Drive slowly and never drive through floodwaters. If the road is flooded or damaged, go another way.
* For storm help, call the SES on 132 500 or download the free SES Assistance QLD app.
A more general severe thunderstorm warning remains current for parts of the Central Coast and Whitsundays, Central Highlands and Coalfields, Capricornia and Wide Bay and Burnett districts.
Other warnings may be current.
