MINOR FLOODING LIKELY AT ABERGOWRIE BRIDGE OVERNIGHT SATURDAY
Rainfall over the past couple days resulted in renewed minor flooding at Gleneagle Homestead. With further rainfall from Saturday afternoon, minor flooding is likely to develop at Abergowrie Bridge.
Showers and thunderstorms are forecast across the catchment over the weekend, which may lead to additional river level rises across the catchment. The situation is being monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.
Herbert River to Nash's Crossing:
Minor flooding is occurring at Gleneagle Homestead.
No observations are currently available for the Herbert River at Gleneagle Homestead. Based on the nearby automatic gauge, the river level is estimated to be around the minor flood level and falling.

MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT ST ANNS AND POSSIBLE AT BURDEKIN FALLS DAM, DALBEG, CLARE AND INKERMAN BRIDGE (BURDEKIN BRIDGE) FROM SATURDAY NIGHT
Moderate to heavy rainfall during the last few days has caused river level rises along the Cape, Belyando, Suttor and Lower Burdekin Rivers.
Major flooding is occurring along the Cape River at Taemas and minor flooding is occurring along the Suttor River at St Anns. As these flows move downstream minor flooding is possible at Burdekin Falls Dam and Dalbeg overnight Saturday and at Clare and Inkerman Bridge (Burdekin Bridge) from Sunday morning.
Further showers and thunderstorms are forecast across the catchment over the next few days, which may cause additional river level rises across the Burdekin River catchment. The situation is being monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning for heavy rain is current for parts of the upper Burdekin catchment.
Belyando and Suttor Rivers to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Minor flooding is occurring at St Anns.
The Suttor River at St Anns is currently at 4.12 m and rising slowly, with minor flooding.
The Suttor River at St Anns may remain above the minor flood level (4.00 m) for the next few days.
Cape River to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Major flooding is occurring at Taemas.
The Cape River at Taemas is currently at 8.81 m and rising, with major flooding.
The Cape River at Taemas is expected to remain above the major flood level (8.00 m) for the remainder of Saturday into Sunday.
Burdekin River to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Minor flooding is possible at Burdekin Falls Dam.
The Burdekin Dam is currently at 2.49 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Burdekin Dam may exceed the minor flood level (3.00 m) overnight Saturday into Sunday. The water level may reach around 3.50 m overnight Sunday into Monday, with minor flooding. Further rises are possible.

Moderate to heavy rainfall during last few days over the Thomson River catchment has led to river level rises between Camoola Park and Stonehenge. Minor flooding is occurring at Camoola Park, with moderate flooding possible from Sunday as upstream flows arrive. Further downstream, minor flooding is occurring at Longreach, Stonehenge, and possible at Jundah from Sunday evening. Further rises are likely as upstream flows from Camoola Park continue to arrive.
In the upper Barcoo River, minor flooding is possible at Isisford from Sunday as upstream flows arrive.
Minor flooding is continuing along the Barcoo River at Retreat. Further downstream, minor flooding is occurring along Cooper Creek at Windorah (Main Channel), with moderate flooding possible over the weekend as upstream flows arrive.
Further rainfall and showers are possible over parts of the catchment for the next few days. This warning will be updated as required.

Thomson River:
Moderate flooding is possible along the Thomson River at Camoola Park. Minor flooding is occurring at Longreach, Bogewong and Stonehenge, and is expected at Jundah.
At 6 am Friday, the Thomson River at Camoola Park was observed at 3.60 m and rising, with minor flooding.
The Thomson River at Camoola Park may reach around the moderate flood level (4.00 m) during Sunday.
The Thomson River at Longreach is currently at 3.52 m and rising slowly, with minor flooding.
The Thomson River at Longreach may remain above the minor flood level (3.30 m) over the next few days. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.

Along the Western River at Winton moderate flooding is now easing slowly, following a peak Tuesday afternoon.
Along the Diamantina River, river levels are above the moderate flood level and falling at Diamantina Lakes. A below minor flood peak has passed Birdsville. However, renewed river level rises are possible from next week as upstream flood waters arrive.
Showers and storms are possible over parts of the catchment for the next few days which may cause further river level rises in some areas. This warning will be updated as required.
Diamantina River to Diamantina Lakes:
The Diamantina River at Diamantina Lakes is currently at 4.12 m and falling, above the moderate flood level (4.00 m) and above the level of the Springvale Diamantina Lakes Road Causeway (2.10 m).
Western River:

Recent moderate rainfall over the upper Flinders catchment has caused river level rises in the upper Flinders River. Moderate flooding is estimated to be occurring along the Flinders River at Richmond Post Office, with renewed rises to the major flood level possible Saturday afternoon. River level are also rising along the Lower Flinders River, where major flooding is possible at Walkers Bend from around Wednesday.
River level rises are occurring along the Cloncurry River following recent rainfall. Minor flooding is possible at Cloncurry from Saturday evening.

Major flooding is possible along the Flinders River to Richmond.
