Moderate Flood Warning For The Warrill Creek And Minor Flood Warning For The Bremer River

WARRILL CREEK AT AMBERLEY LIKELY TO PEAK NEAR THE MODERATE FLOOD LEVEL SUNDAY EVENING
MINOR FLOODING IS CONTINUING ALONG THE BREMER RIVER
Moderate to heavy rainfall has been observed in the Bremer River and Warrill Creek catchments since Friday. Areas of minor flooding are occurring along the Bremer River and Warrill Creek. The Warrill Creek at Amberley is likely to peak close to the moderate flood level Sunday evening.
The situation is being closely monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.
Warrill Creek:
Moderate flooding is possible along the Warrill Creek.
The Warrill Creek at Harrisville is currently at 2.36 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Warrill Creek at Harrisville is expected to remain below the minor flood level (3.00 m).
The Warrill Creek at Amberley is currently at 5.04 m and rising, with minor flooding.
The Warrill Creek at Amberley is likely to peak near the moderate flood level (5.50 m) Sunday evening.
Bremer River:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Bremer River.
The Bremer River at Rosewood peaked at 4.56 m around 8:30 am Sunday, with minor flooding. The river is currently at 4.24 m and falling, with minor flooding.
The Bremer River at Rosewood is likely to fall below the minor flood level (4.00 m) late Sunday afternoon.
The Bremer River at Five Mile Bridge is currently at 4.36 m and rising, with minor flooding.
The Bremer River at Five Mile Bridge is likely to peak near 4.50 m Sunday afternoon, with minor flooding.
The Bremer River at Walloon is currently at 5.35 m and rising, with minor flooding.
The Bremer River at Walloon is likely to peak near 5.50 m early Sunday evening, with minor flooding.
