Recent heavy rainfall has caused river level rises across the upper Balonne River catchment. Moderate flooding is possible along Bungil Creek at Roma overnight Monday into Tuesday. Moderate to major flooding is possible along the Balonne River at Warkon and Surat from Tuesday onwards. Significant river level rises and flooding are also occurring along Dogwood Creek.
Further rainfall is forecast during the remainder of Monday but is expected to ease into Tuesday. The situation is being monitored closely, and this warning will be updated as required.
A Flood Watch is current for much of Queensland.
Dogwood Creek:
Significant river level rises are occurring along Dogwood Creek, with minor to major flooding rising at Miles, Gilweir and Pine Hill Crossing.
Balonne River to Surat:
Moderate to major flooding is possible along the Balonne River.
No observations are currently available for the Balonne River at Warkon. The river level is estimated to be below the minor flood level and rising.
The Balonne River at Warkon may exceed the minor flood level (7.00 m) overnight Monday into Tuesday, then the moderate flood level (8.00 m) during Tuesday, then the major flood level (9.00 m) overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Peak forecasts will be provided as upstream peaks are observed.
No observations are currently available for the Balonne River at Surat. Based on the river level at the nearby automatic station, the river level is estimated to be below the minor flood level and steady.
The Balonne River at Surat may exceed the minor flood level (5.00 m) during Tuesday. The river may exceed the moderate flood level (7.00 m) overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Peak forecasts will be provided as upstream peaks are observed.
Bungil Creek:
Moderate flooding is possible along Bungil Creek.
The Bungil Creek at Roma is currently at 5.25 m and steady, with minor flooding.
The Bungil Creek at Roma may peak near the moderate flood level (5.45 m) overnight Monday into Tuesday.

Moderate to heavy rainfall over the lower Condamine River, Charleys Creek and Myall Creek has caused significant river and creek level rises. Major flooding is possible along Charleys Creek, moderate flooding is likely along the lower Condamine River, and minor flooding is possible along Myall Creek.
Rainfall is likely to clear the catchment by Monday evening. The situation is being monitored closely, and this warning will be updated as required.

Heavy rainfall has been recorded over the Burnett River catchment since Friday morning, with further heavy rainfall forecast for the remainder of Monday. This has caused significant river and creek level rises along the Burnett River and tributaries, where moderate to major flooding is possible at multiple locations, including moderate flooding possible at Bundaberg. Further river level rises are possible.
The situation is being monitored closely and this warning will be updated as required.

Moderate to heavy rainfall has been recorded across the Upper Brisbane and Stanley catchments during Sunday and into Monday. Moderate flooding may occur along the Stanley River at Woodford and along the Upper Brisbane River at Gregor Creek overnight Monday into Tuesday. Further rainfall is forecast during the remainder of Monday which may cause small additional river level rises.
The situation is being monitored closely and this warning will be updated as required.
A Flood Watch is current for most of Queensland. A Severe Weather Warning for heavy rainfall is current including parts of the upper Stanley catchment.
Stanley River to Somerset Dam:
Moderate flooding is possible along the Stanley River at Woodford.
The Stanley River at Woodford is currently at 4.15 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Stanley River at Woodford is likely to exceed the minor flood level (5.00 m) from Monday afternoon. The river may peak near the moderate flood level (6.10 m) overnight Monday into Tuesday.
Brisbane River to Wivenhoe Dam:
Moderate flooding is possible along the Upper Brisbane River at Gregor Creek.

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT TAROOM, THEODORE WEIR AND BARALABA FROM MONDAY MORNING
Moderate to heavy rainfall has been observed across parts of the Dawson, Connors and Isaac Rivers, with further heavy rainfall forecast for the remainder of Monday. Rainfall has been particularly heavy across the Funnel Creek catchment and rapid river level rises have been observed.
Along the Dawson River minor flooding is possible at Taroom, Theodore Weir and Baralaba from Monday morning. Along the Isaac River minor flooding is expected at Yatton from Monday morning with moderate flooding likely from Monday afternoon.
Further rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Monday. Higher and earlier river level rises are possible, depending on the timing and intensity of rainfall.
A Flood Watch is current for most of Queensland. A Severe Weather Warning for heavy rainfall is current for large parts of southeast Queensland, including parts of the Dawson River catchment.
Dawson River to Theodore:
Minor flooding is possible at Taroom and Theodore with further rises possible with forecast rain.
The Dawson River at Taroom is currently at 1.50 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Dawson River at Taroom may reach around the minor flood level (4.50 m) overnight Monday into Tuesday, with forecast rainfall. Further rises are possible.
The Dawson River at Theodore Weir is currently at 6.13 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
