LOCALISED HEAVY TO INTENSE FALLS OVER PARTS OF CENTRAL QUEENSLAND.
Weather Situation
A slow-moving trough extends across the Capricornia to northern Wide Bay. Northerly flow is feeding very humid and unstable air into this trough.
HEAVY RAINFALL for the following areas:
Central Highlands and Coalfields, Capricornia and Wide Bay and Burnett
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Thunderstorms are forecast to affect Bundaberg, Gladstone, Biloela, Monto, Rolleston and Woorabinda.
134 MM WAS RECORDED AT WESTWOOD RANGE IN THE 3 HOURS TO 10:15 PM
127 MM WAS RECORDED AT ALLIGATOR FLATS IN THE 3 HOURS TO 10:30 PM
123 mm was recorded at Captain Creek near Agnes Water in the 3 hours to 9:50 pm
81 mm was recorded at gladstone Radar near Agnes Water in the 3 hours to 8:00 pm
Emergency services advise people to:

* Close doors and windows.
* Keep asthma medications close by. Storms and wind can trigger asthma attacks.
* Charge mobile phones and power banks in case the power goes out.
* Put your pets somewhere safe and make sure they can be identified in case they get lost.
* Do not drive now unless you have to because conditions are dangerous.
* Tell friends, family and neighbours in the area.
* Go inside a strong building now. Stay inside until the storm has passed.
