Severe thunderstorms are no longer affecting the Southeast Queensland area, though non-severe thunderstorms are ongoing about the Brisbane and Ipswich areas. This warning is now cancelled.
89 km/h wind gust was recorded at Amberley RAAF at 9:25 pm.
Emergency services advise people to:
* Never drive, walk, play or ride through floodwater. It is dangerous.
* Stay away from storm water drains.
* Stay away from fallen powerlines.
* Drive slowly and never drive through floodwaters. If the road is flooded or damaged, go another way.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Palm Island, Ingham, Cardwell, Rollingstone and Lucinda.
Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in the Darling Downs and Granite Belt and Southeast Coast districts and the warning for these districts is CANCELLED.
102.0 mm of rainfall was recorded at Gairloch Alert (near Ingham) in the 1 hour to 7:51 pm.
