MINOR FLOODING LIKELY AT ABERGOWRIE BRIDGE OVERNIGHT SATURDAY
Rainfall over the past couple days resulted in renewed minor flooding at Gleneagle Homestead. With further rainfall from Saturday afternoon, minor flooding is likely to develop at Abergowrie Bridge.
Showers and thunderstorms are forecast across the catchment over the weekend, which may lead to additional river level rises across the catchment. The situation is being monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.

Herbert River to Nash's Crossing:
Minor flooding is occurring at Gleneagle Homestead.
No observations are currently available for the Herbert River at Gleneagle Homestead. Based on the nearby automatic gauge, the river level is estimated to be around the minor flood level and falling.
The Herbert River at Gleneagle Homestead is likely to remain around the minor flood level (4.50 m) overnight Saturday into Sunday. Further rises are possible with forecast rainfall.

Herbert River downstream of Nash's Crossing:
Minor flooding is likely along the Herbert River downstream of Nash's Crossing.
The Herbert River at Abergowrie Bridge is currently at 5.22 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Herbert River at Abergowrie Bridge is likely to exceed the minor flood level (6.00 m) overnight Saturday into Sunday.

Major Flood Warning For The Cape River And Minor Flood Warning For The Suttor And Burdekin Rivers

MAJOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT TAEMAS
MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT ST ANNS AND POSSIBLE AT BURDEKIN FALLS DAM, DALBEG, CLARE AND INKERMAN BRIDGE (BURDEKIN BRIDGE) FROM SATURDAY NIGHT
Moderate to heavy rainfall during the last few days has caused river level rises along the Cape, Belyando, Suttor and Lower Burdekin Rivers.
Major flooding is occurring along the Cape River at Taemas and minor flooding is occurring along the Suttor River at St Anns. As these flows move downstream minor flooding is possible at Burdekin Falls Dam and Dalbeg overnight Saturday and at Clare and Inkerman Bridge (Burdekin Bridge) from Sunday morning.
Further showers and thunderstorms are forecast across the catchment over the next few days, which may cause additional river level rises across the Burdekin River catchment. The situation is being monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning for heavy rain is current for parts of the upper Burdekin catchment.

Belyando and Suttor Rivers to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Minor flooding is occurring at St Anns.
The Suttor River at St Anns is currently at 4.12 m and rising slowly, with minor flooding.
The Suttor River at St Anns may remain above the minor flood level (4.00 m) for the next few days.

Cape River to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Major flooding is occurring at Taemas.
The Cape River at Taemas is currently at 8.81 m and rising, with major flooding.
The Cape River at Taemas is expected to remain above the major flood level (8.00 m) for the remainder of Saturday into Sunday.

Burdekin River to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Minor flooding is possible at Burdekin Falls Dam.
The Burdekin Dam is currently at 2.49 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Burdekin Dam may exceed the minor flood level (3.00 m) overnight Saturday into Sunday. The water level may reach around 3.50 m overnight Sunday into Monday, with minor flooding. Further rises are possible.

Burdekin River downstream of Burdekin Falls Dam:
Minor flooding is possible downstream of Burdekin Falls Dam.
The Burdekin River at Dalbeg is currently at 8.93 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Burdekin River at Dalbeg is likely to exceed the minor flood level (10.00 m) overnight Saturday into Sunday. The river may reach around 12.00 m overnight Sunday into Monday, with minor flooding. Further rises are possible.

The Burdekin River at Clare is currently at 8.25 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Burdekin River at Clare may exceed the minor flood level (9.00 m) Sunday morning. The river may reach around 9.50 m during Monday, with minor flooding. Further rises are possible.

The Burdekin River at Inkerman Bridge (Burdekin Bridge) is currently at 6.05 m and rising slowly, below the minor flood level.
The Burdekin River at Inkerman Bridge (Burdekin Bridge) may exceed the minor flood level (7.00 m) Sunday morning. The river may reach around 7.50 m during Monday, with minor flooding. Further rises are possible.

RIVER LEVELS BELOW MINOR AND FALLING AT MT BOHLE
Along the Bohle River at Mt Bohle, river levels fell below the minor flood level early Saturday morning.
Showers and thunderstorms are forecast to continue over the next few days, which may lead to further river level rises at Mt Bohle, but are expected to remain below the minor flood level. The situation is being monitored closely and further warning will be issued where required.

Bohle River:
Flooding has eased along the Bohle River at Mt Bohle.
The Bohle River at Mt Bohle is currently at 2.53 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Bohle River at Mt Bohle is expected to remain below the minor flood level (4.00 m).

Black River and Bluewater Creek:
River levels have eased along the Black River.

Final Flood Warning For The Haughton River Catchment

FLOODING NO LONGER OCCURRING AT GIRU
River levels are falling at Giru following a peak just above the minor flood level during late Friday night.
Showers and storms are forecast over the next few days, which may lead to renewed river level rises across the catchment. The situation is being monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.
A Flood Watch is current for parts of Northern Queensland and the Cape York Peninsula.

Major Creek:
River levels along Major Creek remain elevated but are generally falling.
Haughton River:
Flooding is no longer occurring along the Haughton River at Giru.
The Haughton River at Giru peaked at 1.83 m around 10:30 pm Friday night, with minor flooding. The river is currently at 1.63 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Haughton River at Giru is likely to remain below the minor flood level (1.80 m) for the remainder of Saturday.
