MAJOR FLOODING EASING SLOWLY AT GLENGYLE
MODERATE FLOODING EASING SLOWLY AT BEDOURIE
River levels are continuing to fall along the Georgina River and Eyre Creek.

Georgina River to Marion Downs:
Minor flooding is easing at Marion Downs.
The Georgina River at Marion Downs was at 3.55 m and falling slowly at 9:00 am Tuesday, with minor flooding.
The Georgina River at Marion Downs may fall below the minor flood level (3.00 m) from overnight Wednesday into Thursday.

Georgina River downstream of Marion Downs:
River levels continue to fall along the Georgina River downstream of Marion Downs.
Eyre Creek:
Major flooding is slowly easing at Glengyle and moderate flooding is slowly easing at Bedourie.
The Eyre Creek at Bedourie was at 4.67 m and falling slowly at 3:30 pm Tuesday, with moderate flooding.
The Eyre Creek at Bedourie is likely to remain above the moderate flood level (4.00 m) over the next few days.

The Eyre Creek at Glengyle is currently at 4.00 m and falling slowly, with major flooding.
The Eyre Creek at Glengyle may remain around the major flood level (4.00 m) over the next few days.

Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.

Moderate Flood Warning For The Lower Diamantina River

BIRDSVILLE LIKELY TO PEAK AROUND THE MODERATE FLOOD LEVEL FROM THURSDAY 9 APRIL
Minor flooding is continuing between Monkira and Durrie Station. Downstream, the main flood peak is currently around Roseberth Station, where major flooding is nearing a peak. Minor flooding is continuing at Birdsville, where the river level is rising slowly, with a peak around the moderate flood level likely from Thursday 9 April.

Diamantina River downstream of Diamantina Lakes:
Major flooding is nearing a peak at Roseberth Station. Minor flooding is occurring at Durrie Station and Birdsville.
The Diamantina River at Birdsville Police Station was at 5.80 m and rising slowly at 9:00 am Tuesday, with minor flooding.
The Diamantina River at Birdsville Police Station is likely to peak around the moderate flood level (6.00 m) from Thursday 09 April.
