Severe storms with large hail, damaging winds and heavy rainfall continue northwest of Gympie, moving north.

DAMAGING WINDS, LARGE HAILSTONES and HEAVY RAINFALL for the following areas:
Gympie
The Bureau of Meteorology warns that, at 6:45 pm, severe thunderstorms likely to produce damaging winds, large hailstones and heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding were detected near the area north of Kilkivan. These thunderstorms are moving towards the north.

RENEWED RISES AND MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT BARALABA LATER THIS WEEK
A flood peak is moving down the Upper Dawson River and is nearing Gyranda Weir. This peak, in combination with forecast rainfall and storms from late Wednesday, may result in renewed river level rises and minor flooding along the Dawson River at Baralaba.

Dawson River downstream of Theodore:
Minor flooding is possible along the Dawson River at Baralaba later this week.
No observations are currently available for the Dawson River at Moura, however based on the nearby automatic gauge the river level is estimated to be below the minor flood level (6.00 m) and falling.
The Dawson River at Moura is likely to remain below the minor flood level (6.00 m).

Renewed river level rises and minor flooding (4.00 m) are possible along the Dawson River at Baralaba from later this week as upstream peaks arrive and in combination with forecast rainfall.
