Moderate Flood Warning For The Isaac River And Minor Flood Warning For The Dawson River

MODERATE FLOODING LIKELY AT YATTON SATURDAY AFTERNOON
MINOR FLOODING MAY CONTINUE AT BARALABA FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS
Moderate to heavy rainfall since Thursday morning has caused river level rises across Connors and Isaac Rivers and tributaries. Minor flooding is occurring at Yatton, where moderate flooding is likely during Saturday afternoon.
Floodwaters are moving into the Dawson River downstream of Theodore, where minor flooding is continuing at Baralaba.
Further showers and thunderstorms are forecast across the catchment during the next few days, which may lead to additional river level rises. This warning will be updated as required.
Dawson River downstream of Theodore:
Minor flooding is expected to be occurring along the Dawson River downstream of Theodore.
No current observations are available for the Dawson River at Baralaba. Based on the nearby automatic gauge, the river level is estimated to be around the minor flood level (4.00 m) and steady.
The Dawson River at Baralaba may remain around the minor flood level (4.00 m) for the next few days.
Connors and Isaac Rivers:
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Connors River at Pink Lagoon. Moderate flooding likely along the Isaac River at Yatton.
The Isaac River at Yatton is currently at 8.41 m and rising, with minor flooding.
The Isaac River at Yatton is likely to exceed the moderate flood level (9.50 m) Saturday afternoon. The river may remain above the moderate flood level (9.50 m) during Sunday.
