Cancellation Of Severe Thunderstorm Warning
for Central Highlands and Coalfields and Capricornia Forecast Districts.

Weather Situation
A surface trough extending through southeastern parts of the state is generating thunderstorms this evening in a moist and unstable atmosphere. However, thunderstorms are not severe at this time.

Central Highlands and Coalfields and Capricornia
Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in QUEENSLAND.
The immediate threat of severe thunderstorms has passed, but the situation will continue to be monitored and further warnings will be issued if necessary.
Emergency services advise people to:
* Never drive, walk, play or ride through floodwater. It is dangerous.
* Stay away from storm water drains.
* Stay away from fallen powerlines.
* Drive slowly and never drive through floodwaters. If the road is flooded or damaged, go another way.

No further warnings will be issued for this event.
