for Heavy Rainfall
for parts of Central Highlands and Coalfields, Capricornia, Wide Bay and Burnett, Maranoa and Warrego and Darling Downs and Granite Belt Forecast Districts.

Heavy falls continuing inland in southern Queensland tonight.
Weather Situation
A trough lying across Southeast Queensland is driving showers and storms capable of producing heavy falls tonight. Rainfall is expect to gradually ease into the early morning.
Warnings for Friday 13 February
HEAVY RAINFALL for the following areas:
Central Highlands and Coalfields, Capricornia, Wide Bay and Burnett, Maranoa and Warrego and Darling Downs and Granite Belt
HEAVY RAINFALL which may lead to FLASH FLOODING is possible over parts of the Wide Bay Burnett and South East Coast districts north of Brisbane this evening. Six-hourly rainfall totals between 50 to 100 mm are likely, with isolated higher falls to around 150 mm possible.
A separate Severe Thunderstorm Warning will be issued if VERY DANGEROUS THUNDERSTORMS with INTENSE RAINFALL are detected. Other Severe Thunderstorm Warnings are also possible over broader parts of the state today.

Locations which may be affected include Roma, Taroom, Monto, Gayndah, Eidsvold, Theodore, Moura, Mundubbera and Biggenden.
Severe weather is no longer occurring in the Southeast Coast district and the warning for this district is CANCELLED.
85 mm was recorded at Mingo Creek in the 3 hours to 8:29 pm.
81 mm was recorded at Windamere in the 3 hours to 8:18 pm.
95 mm was recorded at Didcott in the 3 hours to 7:42 pm.
90 mm was recorded at Old Range Rd (near Dallarnil) in 3 hours to 7:42 pm.
102 mm was recorded at Mt Goonaneman in the 3 hours to 7:33 pm.

Emergency services advise people to:
* Park your car undercover away from trees.
* Close doors and windows.
* Keep asthma medications close by. Storms and wind can trigger asthma attacks.
* Charge mobile phones and power banks in case the power goes out.
* Put your pets somewhere safe and make sure they can be identified in case they get lost.
* Do not drive now unless you have to because conditions are dangerous.
* Tell friends, family and neighbours in the area.
* Go inside a strong building now. Stay inside until the storm has passed.
The next Severe Weather Warning will be issued by 5:00 am AEST Saturday.
