MAJOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT BARALABA
MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT TAROOM AND YATTON AND POSSIBLE AT MOURA
RENEWED MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT THEODORE WEIR FROM LATER THIS WEEK
Moderate to locally intense rainfall across parts of the Fitzroy River catchment over the weekend resulted in rapid river and creek level rises, particularly across parts of the Connors and Isaac, Comet and Nogoa, and Dawson River catchments.
Along the Dawson River, major flooding is occurring at Baralaba following initial rises due to local rainfall, with renewed rises likely as upstream flows arrive. Further upstream, moderate flooding is occurring at Taroom, with a moderate flood peak likely from this evening. Minor flooding is occurring at Theodore Weir and Moura. Renewed rises are likely downstream of Taroom over the coming days as upstream flows arrive.
Along the Callide Creek, moderate flooding is falling at Jambin. Along the Isaac River, a moderate flood peak was observed at Yatton during Wednesday morning.
Elevated river levels are occurring across the Comet, Nogoa and Mackenzie River catchments.
Dawson River to Theodore:
Moderate flooding is occurring at Chilgerrie Hill and Taroom. Minor flooding is occurring at Tarana Crossing and Theodore Weir.
The Dawson River at Taroom is currently at 6.38 m and rising slowly, with moderate flooding.
The Dawson River at Taroom is likely peak near 6.50 m Wednesday evening, above the moderate flood level (6.00 m).
The Dawson River at Theodore Weir is currently at 10.10 m and falling, with minor flooding.
The Dawson River at Theodore Weir may remain above the minor flood level (8.00 m) for the remainder of Wednesday. Renewed river level rises and moderate flooding (11.00 m) is possible from later this week as upstream flows arrive.
Dawson River downstream of Theodore:
Major flooding is occurring at Baralaba, Karamea, Beckers and Knebworth.
No observations are currently available for the Dawson River at Moura. Based on the nearby automatic gauge the river level is estimated to be above the minor flood level (6.00 m) and rising.
The Dawson River at Moura may peak near the moderate flood level (11.00 m) Wednesday evening. Renewed rises are possible later this week as upstream flows arrive.
No observations are currently available for the Dawson River at Baralaba. However, based on the nearby automatic gauge the river level at Baralaba is expected to be above the major flood level (9.00 m) and falling slowly.
The Dawson River at Baralaba will remain above the major flood level (9.00 m) during the remainder of Wednesday and into Thursday. Renewed river level rises are likely as upstream flows arrive.
Don and Dee Rivers:
Minor flooding is occurring at Jambin.
The Callide Creek at Jambin is currently at 3.95 m and falling, with minor flooding.
The Callide Creek at Jambin may remain above the minor flood level (2.65 m) for the remainder of Wednesday and into Thursday.
Comet River:
Elevated river levels are occurring across the Comet River catchment. Major flooding is occurring at Comet Weir.
Nogoa River:
Elevated river levels are occurring across the Nogoa River catchment. Major flooding is occurring at Valeria, Gregory Highway and Duckponds.
Connors and Isaac Rivers:
Moderate flooding is occurring at Yatton. Minor flooding is occurring at Pink Lagoon.
The Isaac River at Yatton is currently at 10.24 m and falling, with moderate flooding.
The Isaac River at Yatton is likely to remain above the moderate flood level (9.50 m) for the remainder of Wednesday.
Mackenzie River:
River level rises are occurring across the Mackenzie River catchment as upstream flows arrive. Moderate flooding is occurring at Bedford Weir. Minor flooding is occurring at Bingegang Weir.

Multiple flood peaks are travelling through the catchments. Major flooding is occurring along Charleys Creek and moderate to major flooding is forecast along the lower Condamine River over the next few days.

FLOODING NO LONGER OCCURRING AT WOODFORD AND GREGOR CREEK
Flooding has eased along the Stanley River at Woodford and Upper Brisbane River at Gregor Creek. Minor flooding is easing along the upper Brisbane River at Linville Alert and Devon Hills.
No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days and river levels will continue to ease during the remainder of Wednesday and Thursday.
Stanley River to Somerset Dam:
Flooding has eased along the Stanley River at Woodford.
The Stanley River at Woodford is currently at 4.52 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Stanley River at Woodford is expected to remain below the minor flood level (5.00 m).
Brisbane River to Wivenhoe Dam:
Flooding has eased along the Upper Brisbane River at Gregor Creek.
The Brisbane River at Gregor Creek is currently at 2.70 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Brisbane River at Gregor Creek is expected to remain below the minor flood level (3.50 m).

MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT ESSENDEAN BRIDGE
MINOR FLOODING HAS EASED AT BUCCA WEIR
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Baffle Creek at Essendean Bridge. The river level has peaked below the major flood level and is now falling slowly.
Minor flooding has eased along the Kolan River at Bucca Weir. Elevated river levels have eased along the Boyne and Calliope Rivers.
No further significant rainfall is expected over the next few days. This situation is being monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.
Kolan River:
No further flooding expected in the Kolan River.
The Kolan River at Bucca Weir is currently at 16.82 meters and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Kolan River at Bucca Weir is expected to remain below the minor flood level (17.50 m).
Baffle Creek:
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Baffle Creek.
The Baffle Creek at Essendean Bridge peaked at 11.07 m around 04:00 am Wednesday 11 March, with moderate flooding. The creek is currently at 11.02 m and falling slowly, with moderate flooding.
The Baffle Creek at Essendean Bridge is likely to remain above the moderate flood level (6.20 m) for the next few days.
Boyne River:
Elevated river levels have eased along the Boyne River.
Calliope River:
Elevated river levels have eased along the Calliope River.
