RIVER LEVELS ARE EASING AT MT BOHLE
A peak just below the minor flood level was observed during Monday morning at Mt Bohle.
Further showers are storms are forecast over the next few days, which may lead to renewed river level rises and flooding across the catchment. This situation is being closely monitored, and a warning will be issued as required.

Bohle River:
River levels are easing along the Bohle River at Mt Bohle.
The Bohle River at Mt Bohle peaked at 3.98 m around 9:42 am Monday 16 February, just below the minor flood level ( 4.00m). The river is currently at 3.88 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Bohle River at Mt Bohle is likely to remain below the minor flood level (4.00 m).

Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.

Minor Flood Warning For The Herbert River

MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT GLENEAGLE HOMESTEAD
MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT ABERGOWRIE BRIDGE FROM MONDAY EVENING
Moderate rainfall over the last few days has resulted in river level rises across the upper Herbert catchment. Minor flooding is occurring at Gleneagle Homestead and is possible at Abergowrie Bridge from Monday evening.
Further showers and storms are forecast over the next few days, which may lead to further river level rises and flooding across the catchment. This warning will be updated as required.
A Flood Watch is current for the Herbert River catchment and some adjoining catchments.

Herbert River to Nash's Crossing:
Minor flooding is occurring at Gleneagle Homestead.
No observations are currently available for the Herbert River at Gleneagle Homestead. Based on the nearby automatic gauge, the river level is estimated to be above the minor flood level and rising.
The Herbert River at Gleneagle Homestead is likely to remain above the minor flood level (4.50 m) Monday morning. Further rises are likely with forecast rain.

Herbert River downstream of Nash's Crossing:
Minor flooding may occur along the Herbert River downstream of Nash's Crossing.
The Herbert River at Abergowrie Bridge is currently at 3.47 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Herbert River at Abergowrie Bridge may reach around the minor flood level (6.00 m) Monday evening. Further rises are possible.
