MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT TAEMAS
Moderate to heavy rainfall during last few days has caused river level rises along the Cape River, and minor flooding is occurring at Taemas.
Further showers and thunderstorms are forecast across the catchment throughout the week, which may cause additional river level rises. The situation is being monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.

Cape River to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Minor flooding is occurring at Taemas.
The Cape River at Taemas is currently at 5.81 m and rising, with minor flooding.
The Cape River at Taemas is expected to remain above the minor flood level (5.00 m) during Tuesday into Wednesday.

Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.

MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT GLENEAGLE HOMESTEAD OVERNIGHT TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY
MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT ABERGOWRIE BRIDGE FROM TUESDAY MORNING
Moderate rainfall over the last few days has resulted in river level rises across the upper Herbert catchment. Moderate flooding may develop at Gleneagle Homestead overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Minor flooding is possible at Abergowrie Bridge from Tuesday morning.
Further showers and storms are forecast across the catchment over the next few days, which may lead to additional river level rises across the catchment. This warning will be updated as required.

Herbert River to Nash's Crossing:
Moderate flooding is possible at Gleneagle Homestead.
No observations are currently available for the Herbert River at Gleneagle Homestead. Based on the nearby automatic gauge, the river level is estimated to be above the minor flood level and rising.
The Herbert River at Gleneagle Homestead may reach the moderate flood level (8.50 m) overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Further rises are possible with forecast rain.

Herbert River downstream of Nash's Crossing:
Minor flooding is possible along the Herbert River downstream of Nash's Crossing.
The Herbert River at Abergowrie Bridge is currently at 5.72 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Herbert River at Abergowrie Bridge may reach around the minor flood level (6.00 m) Tuesday morning. Further rises are possible with forecast rain.

Final Flood Warning For The Bohle River

RIVER LEVELS ARE EASING AT MT BOHLE
A peak just below the minor flood level was observed during Monday morning at Mt Bohle.
Further showers are storms are forecast over the next few days, which may lead to renewed river level rises and flooding across the catchment. This situation is being closely monitored, and a warning will be issued as required.

Bohle River:
River levels are easing along the Bohle River at Mt Bohle.
The Bohle River at Mt Bohle peaked at 3.98 m around 9:42 am Monday 16 February, just below the minor flood level ( 4.00m). The river is currently at 3.88 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Bohle River at Mt Bohle is likely to remain below the minor flood level (4.00 m).
