Final Flood Warning For The Mary River

FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT GYMPIE
Rainfall totals of 50 to 114 mm were recorded across the Upper Mary River catchment during Saturday. This has caused river level rises and near minor flooding at Gympie.
No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.

Mary River to Gympie:
Flooding is no longer expected along the Mary River at Gympie.
The Mary River at Gympie peaked at 5.81 metres around 08:00 pm Sunday, below the minor flood level (6.00 m) and is currently at 4.51 metres and falling.
The Mary River at Gympie is expected to remain below the minor flood level.
